We answer the call that follows our veterans home.
Ketchum's Got Your Six was founded by veterans, families, and friends who saw the gap between coming home and feeling at home — and decided to close it.

Who we are
Ketchum's Got Your Six is a community-rooted 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to placing professionally trained service dogs with veterans who carry the weight of their service every day. We are veterans, military families, dog trainers, volunteers, and neighbors — united by the belief that no one who served should stand watch alone.
Why we are
The transition home from service is rarely simple. PTSD, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, and mobility challenges turn ordinary moments — a crowded store, a loud room, a sleepless night — into hard ones. A trained service dog can change that. We exist because the waitlists are long, the costs are high, and our veterans cannot wait.
Our mission
To pair veterans with highly trained service dogs at no cost, and to support the lifelong partnership that follows — through training, community, and resources.
Our goals
- Place more service dogs with qualified veterans every year.
- Offer ongoing training for veteran-owned dogs through our Apply for Training program.
- Connect veterans with the wider network of VSOs and care funds in our region.
- Build a sustainable community of donors, volunteers, and advocates.
