Criteria to receive a service dog

  • Able to participate in placement and training sessions.
  • Stable home environment suitable for a service dog.
  • Commitment to ongoing care, vet visits, and continued training.

Criteria to train your own dog

  • Sound temperament: calm, social, non-aggressive, food-motivated, and comfortable in public.
  • You can commit to weekly training sessions and daily practice at home.
  • You meet our veteran applicant criteria above.
  • Initial evaluation confirms the dog's suitability for service work.
